Although not all of the Profiles ladies were born and raised in Baltimore, we’re all proud of our local clients and the work they do for the city. So, we were excited to see the city of Baltimore get some positive media attention recently. Here are some examples:
- Thanks to the success of the Orioles, Baltimore got some love from a national media outlet this month when they were featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s October issue (read: Orioles get big-time respect from Sports Illustrated from The Baltimore Sun). Baseball in Baltimore is back!
- Along with the positive media spotlight on the Orioles, the TODAY show brought Al Roker to the Inner Harbor for Sailabration this summer. We even saw the show’s hosts back in New York chat about how good Rusty Scupper’s crab cakes looked and a few weeks later, they ate them on air.
- This August, Forbes included Baltimore on its list of Coolest Cities. They also named Hampden as one of the 20 Hippest Neighborhoods in America. We always knew Hampden was hip, that’s why we have our offices there!
With the Ravens looking good on the field so far this season too, hopefully the national media attention won’t stop, and we hope Baltimore continues to get the positive press it deserves.
